Andrea Loss – graduated at the Conservatory in Udine (Clarinet) and studied conducting with Jan Cober (NL), Ronald Johnson (USA), Felix Hauswirth (CH) , Isaac Karabtchevsky (BR), Diego Dini Ciacci (I) orchestration , harmony , composition and singing.
He conducted several wind orchestra in Italy, Europe, and USA. He is the principal conductor of the “Orchestra di fiati Rosmini ” from Rovereto (I), Orchestra di Fiati della Provincia di Vicenza (I) , Banda cittadina Peschiera del Garda (I), Corpo bandistico di Lizzana (I) and he is teacher and artistic director of ISEB (Wind Band European Institute ).

Luca Neccia. Born in Italy, graduate at the Conservatory „L. Refice” in Frosinone. After that, he improved his skills under the guide of A. Loppi at the Academy „Santa Cecilia” in Rome, and A. Negroni (principal oboe at the „Scala” theater, Milan).He partecipated in several courses, in 1995 in Austria with Martin Gabriel (principal oboe at the „Wiener Philarmoniker), in 1997 in Poland with Ingo Goritzki for oboe and Aurele Nicolet for chamber music.In 1998 joined the „Cyprus chamber orchestra”.From 2001 principal oboe at the Podlasie Opera and Philarmonic in Bialystok, Poland.In 2006 formed the ensemble „ orchestra di otto” with whom recorded a CD of Mozart’s Serenades for wind, celebrating the 300ht anniversary of Mozart’s birthday.
Flute: Alenka Zupan
Msc. ALENKA ZUPAN, Academic Music Specialist – Flutist
Alenka Zupan from Koper began her musical journey at the Koper Music School in the
class of prof. Marijan Kocjančič. She continued her flute studies at the Secondary School of
Music and Ballet in Ljubljana in the class of prof. Jože Pogačnik, later at the Academy of
Music in Ljubljana under the mentorship of prof. Fedja Rupla, studied at the Accademia del
flauto in Rome (Italy) with prof. Raymond Guiot and at the same time completed
postgraduate studies at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris (France) with prof. Christian
Cheret, where she received the highest degree of excellence and recognition: “Diplôme
Supérieur de Concertiste de Flûte, a l'unanimité avec les félicitations du Jury”. In September
2006, she completed the Master’s Degree programme: Special didactics of playing flute, at
the Academy of Music in Ljubljana under the mentorship of professors Fedja Rupel and
Branka Rotar-Pance, PhD.
With numerous concerts, performances in various chamber ensembles, orchestras
and as a soloist with the Coastal Chamber Orchestra, she performed in Croatia, Serbia, Italy,
Germany, Austria, France, Malta, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Switzerland,
Bangkok-Thailand, Florida-USA and Hungary. She collaborated with the orchestra of the
Ljubljana Opera and Ballet orchestra, the string orchestra "Camerata Labacensis", the flute
quartet Quatuor de Flûtes de Paris (France) and many other Slovene and international
musicians and artists. She published the CD "Breath of Life" (the sounds of the flute with the
sounds of nature); with the singer Shirlie Roden she issued CD "Angels Sounds" (old folk
songs); with the guitarist Marko Feri (Baros Records) a CD entitled “Views” (2016). She
recorded with the Coastal Chamber Orchestra, with FlavtIstra Flute Ensemble and various
chamber ensembles as a soloist for RTV Koper-Capodistria, RTV Slovenia, Radio Malta, …
Alenka is also known as an excellent pedagogue at the Koper Music School and the
Koper High Music School (Gymnasium). Since 1997 she has achieved extraordinary results
and won many first prizes in national and international competitions with her flute students
and chamber music as well and successfully prepares them for further flute studies. She is
the recipient of the Fran Gerbič Award, for exceptional pedagogic work (Slovenian Music
School Association, 2016).
In 2009, she published three manuals for flute teachers and students (Flute
Exercises), in 2014 she published the Manual for the youngest fife students (Traveling with
Fife) and in 2015 issued the Manual for young flutists (Traveling with Flute). The manuals
provide a progressive discovery of fife-flute playing elements, systematically exploring of
new tones, breathing and good tone exercises, personalized interpretation of musical
concepts, exercises for notes quick reading and fingers exercises, songs creation, beautiful
illustrations, playing a duet, piano accompaniment and the selected songs on the CD. She
dedicates the profit from sales of manuals for children's education.
Continuous education and training in the field as a flutist and teacher enables her to
hold inspiring flute and performance seminars at home and abroad (Croatia, Serbia,
Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Italy, France, Austria, Argentina,
Brazil, Dominican Republic, Bangkok – Thailand, Gainesville, Florida – USA, …). For twenty
years, she organized and led the flute music workshops "Pikolo" in Bled, and since 2019 she
has been leading the "FlavtArt" flute playing art program at the Koper Music School.
With deep dedication and enormous love, she shares rich knowledge and experience
in solo and chamber performance, free expression-performance and personal growth to
young flutists and musicians.

Graduated State Primary and Secondary Music School in Nysa and the Academy of Music in Krakow (diploma with honors in 2007 in the class of Adam Klock) .
Laureate of the National Bach Competition Stanisław Hajzer in Zielona Góra, the Youth Cello Competition for them. Kazimierz Wiłkomirski in Poznań and the International Competition Leos Janack in Brno (in the string quartet category).
She perfected the orchestral workshop, among others. during courses and tours with Young Musicians International Symphony Orchestra (now known as ESYO) led by Igor Coretti-Kuret.
Currently, he pursues his passion for music by teaching at the Ignacy Paderewski in Białystok and playing in the orchestra of the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic.
Piotr Kania
PUZON, TUBA, EUPHONIUM. Graduated of the Faculty of Instrumental and Pedagogy at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in the trombone class of prof. Juliusz Pietrachowicz and performs as an orchestral and chamber musician. He is a trombonist in the orchestra of the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic, with which he has recorded many albums and made numerous artistic trips around Europe and the USA.
For over 20 years he has also been involved in music pedagogy. He teaches the trombone class at the Music School Complex of Ignacy Paderewski in Białystok. He was the conductor of the brass band of the PKP School Complex of Ernest Malinowski in Białystok, he led the trombone and tuba section in the brass band of the Mechanical School Complex in Białystok and in the Municipal Brass Band of the City of Białystok.

French Horn: Timea Erdei
Began learning the French horn at the “Isidor Bajic” music school under the guidance of Professor Jelena Jeremic in Novi Sad. She also completed two years of high school music education in her class, and the final two years with Professor Mirko Marié. In 2022, she graduated from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana under the mentorship of Professor Bostjan Lipovsek.
During her studies, she participated in various tours. In 2014, she was among the selected students who had the opportunity to perform in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. In 2017, she was a member of the international symphony orchestra Euphony and, as the principal horn player of the “Isidor Bajic” high school symphony orchestra, she performed in a competition in Belgium. During 2017/18, she collaborated with the Queen Real Tribute symphony orchestra. In February 2018, she was invited as a guest horn player with the Zagreb Chamber Orchestra, with which she performed in Zagreb, Salzburg, and Vienna. In July 2018, she performed as principal horn with the international youth orchestra Triorca in England. That same year, she performed in Berlin with the Ljubljana Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra at the Young Euro Classic international festival. She has been a regular substitute for the Slovenian Police Orchestra and the SNG Ljubljana Orchestra. During her studies, she attended various workshops with professors such as Luiz Garcia, Palma Szilagyi, Will Sanders, Markus Bruggaier, and Szabolcs Zempleéni. She has taught at Sevnica Music School and Brezice Music School, and she is currently employed at Koper Music School and the Koper Arts High
School.
Mariusz Mocarski
Percussion. A graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw , as well as the State Jazz Study at the F. Chopin Secondary School of Music in Warsaw. He participated in intensive courses organized in famous percussion schools: Drummers Collective in New York and Drum-Tech in London. Since 2017, a lecturer at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. In 2019, he obtained a doctorate in musical arts in the artistic discipline of Instrumental Studies. Guest lecturer at the Postgraduate Studies in Wind Orchestras at the UMFC in Warsaw. Session musician, with over 50 albums to his credit with artists representing a number of musical genres. His recordings have won, among others, Diamond and Gold Record levels in the Pop category, Gold Record in the Jazz category and Fryderyk Nomination in the Classical category. He performs solo, with chamber ensembles and with symphonic ensembles. He has given over a dozen world and European premieres of solo and chamber pieces. He also shares the stage with artists from the jazz and pop music scene. He has taken part in many festivals and concerts in Poland and abroad, including the USA, Lebanon, India and almost all of Europe. His students have won awards and distinctions at over 60 national and international percussion competitions. Lecturer and juror at many workshops, festivals and percussion conferences, often international. Percussion consultant at the Center for Artistic Education. In 2022, he was invited by the Department of Artistic Education to the expert committee developing the Core Curriculum for percussion classes at primary and secondary music schools.
Saxophone: Michal Kalinowski
Saxophonist, actor of music scenes. A graduate of the Music University of F. Chopin, the State Jazz School named after H. Majewski in Warsaw and the State Vocal and Acting School in Białystok. He played in bands led by: Zbigniew Namysłowski (Namysłowski Super Band), Ryszard Borowski (Big Band Akwarium). He recorded the saxophone part on several albums, including “The Funk to Change” – KEN LEE, “You saved me” – Schola Adonai. Winner of the Young Forms dance festivals in Mrągowo and the Połczyński Dance Festival. He created acting roles, e.g. musicals: “Beautiful Cellist” dir. Jakub Wocial, Ark Naomi, dir. Robert Drobniuch.
He teaches the saxophone class at the State Primary Music School. J.S. Bach in Grajewo. From 2022, and Music School in Sokółka.
In 2021, he performed as a soloist with the Orchestra of the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic, currently works with the Opera as a saxophonist in the show “Broadway Dance Club”
Participant of international and national workshops conducted e.g. by Jerry Bergonzi, Bob Reynolds (Snarky Puppy), Greg Osby, Alex Terrier, Ari Roland, Bronisław Suchanek, Łukasz Ojdana. His main musical interests are: jazz, fusion, funk, soul, r’n’b, latin jazz and contemporary classical saxophone music.
Trumpet: Mitja Bobič
Mitja Bobič (1983) began learning the trumpet at the age of nine at the Koper Music School, continued his studies with Professor Dejan Glamočak at the artistic department of the Koper Gymnasium, and after finishing high school, enrolled at the Trieste Conservatory in the class of Massimiliano Morrosini, the principal trumpet player of the Trieste Opera, where he graduated and obtained a master’s degree in 2009. At the end of his studies, he was awarded a scholarship for the most successful students at the University of Trieste. Later, he further refined his skills with Gerard Metrailler, Andrew Balio, and others.
During his studies, he performed as a soloist with various ensembles, such as the CMGT Conservatory Orchestra, the Francesco Poloni chamber ensemble, and other smaller chamber groups. Later, he appeared as a soloist and member of various orchestras on different occasions in the Vatican (Evening for Africa, ONC Concert, New Year’s Concert with Montserrat Caballé, etc.). As a soloist and arranger, he also collaborated with the Trieste-Salerno Brass Ensemble. He excelled in competitions, winning first place in his category at the All-Italian Student Competition Belle Arti in Livorno, and at the Santa Cecilia competition in Rome, where he received a special award—a chance to play in an orchestra composed of the best students from all Italian conservatories.
As a soloist or member of various groups, he has collaborated with musicians such as Montserrat Caballé, José Maria Sciutto, Andrew Balio, Bruno Aprea, Fabio Mastrangelo, Anton Nanut, Franco Poloni, Enio Morricone, Josh Groban, Romolo Gessi, and others.
After his studies, he became a trumpet teacher at the Koper Music School, and from the 2011/2012 school year, he has been teaching at the artistic department of the Koper Gymnasium. He serves as a mentor and soloist in the KIP Brass Ensemble (Koper, Izola, Piran), various school orchestras, and summer music camps such as Intercampus and Musica Creativa. He plays in the Coastal Chamber Orchestra and the Koper Wind Orchestra and also conducts the Koper En Big Band. He is also active in the field of popular music, having recorded several dozen CDs as a session musician and arranged numerous pieces for various ensembles and genres. He received a number of awards for the best arrangements or songs at festivals, TV shows and he also won as a vocalist, backing vocalist. He has performed at shows and festivals like the Slovenska popevka, Eurovison national contest, Melodies of sea and sun, Summer night, as well as various television and radio shows. As a trumpet player in pop music he has collaborated with Danilo Kocjančič, Jure Robežnik, Mojimir Sepe, Alenka Godec, Oto Pestner, Nina Strnad, Nina Pušlar, Patrik Greblo, Rudi Bučar, and many others.
