He stands out on account of his versatility as a conductor of important orchestras and professional symphonic orchestras and bands in Europe and America, and is known for tackling all types of genres, ranging from opera to jazz, without forgetting the great symphonic classics, operetta, flamenco, copla (Spanish folk songs), pop, studio recordings, radio and television work, premieres, among other work. This versatility is based on a solid musical background based in Seville and Madrid and completed with numerous international perfection courses both home and abroad with leading masters, and having achieved a brilliant academic curriculum with distinction awards, special mention at elemental grade, and special awards both at the middle and end of his degree. Javier has the following titles: conducting professor; professor of harmony, musical counterpoint, composition and instrumentation; oboe professor, musical theory professor, sight reading and transport among others.<\/p>\n<p>With regard to music, he has carried out important historical recoveries of lost or altered works and has published the treaty \u201cThe March form\u201d edited by ABEC. He makes documentaries and collaborates closely with articles in the mass media like Telesevilla, Giralda TV, El Correo TV, Ondaluz, Canal Sur Radio, COPE, Correo de Andaluc\u00eda, Diario de Sevilla and ABC among others.<\/p>\n<p>Currently he is the chief Director of the Municipal Symphonic Band of Seville; he conducts orchestras and symphonic bands as well as giving conferences and classes in universities all over Spain, the United States, Italy, Portugal, Costa Rica, Argentina, Colombia and Venezuela; in addition he participates in international congresses and forms part of juries in international competitions. He is president of the music section of the Arts and Science Association of Seville. He has received numerous awards and prizes both in Europe and America. Trained as an academic musician, Arvydas doesn\u2018t limit himself to only \u201eserious\u201c \/ classical music, and he\u2018s known for his creative curiosity. Arvydas is always up for unexpected musical adventures resulting in collaborations with musicians of other genres and explorations of yet-unknown musical territories. Arvydas Kazlauskas\u2018 playing has been described as having \u201e(\u2026) exceptionally high qualities in sound, articulation and emotional nuances(\u2026)\u201c. (A.Znoti\u0146\u0161, Diena).<\/p>\n<p>A.Kazlauskas was born in Vilnius, Lithuania, where he received his basic musical education. Then he graduated from Jazeps Vitols Latvian Academy of Music in Riga, Latvia, with additional Erasmus studies at Universitat der Kunste Berlin with Johannes Ernst. Arvydas has participated in a number of masterclasses with such artists as Arno Bornkamp, Claude Delangle, Vincent David, Joel Versavaud and Daniel Gauthier. A.Kazlauskas is a prize winner of number of international saxophone competitions: The International Hillar Kareva Contest for Saxophonists and Trumpeters ( 2003, Tallinn; 1st prize), Jurjanu Andrejs 3d International Competition \u201cWoodwind Instruments\u201d (2005, Riga; Grand Prix), 3rd international saxophone competition \u201cAlps \u2013 Adria \u2013 Danube\u201d (2005, Nova Gorica; 2nd prize). Arvydas has collaborated with singers Gunta Davidcuka and Baiba Berke, pianists Reinis Zarins and Agnese Eglina, Sinfonietta Riga string quartet, Dirt Nonet, DJ Kri. Arvydas was a member of Riga Saxophone Quartet from 2006-2013, during which time he gave a number of premier performances by latvian composers such as Rihards Dubra, Liga Celma, Valdis Muktupavels, Nic Gotham and others.<\/p>\n<p>As a soloist Arvydas has performed with the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, Latvian State chamber orchestra Sinfonietta Riga, professional Woodwind Orchestra Riga, Orchestra Sinfonia Concertante and Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra. As a chamber musician or a soloist he has performed in Poland, Lithuania, Norway, United Kingdom, Germany, Israel, Italy, Ireland, Romania, and Bulgaria. Arvydas is a docent of saxophone at Jazeps Vitols Latvian Academy of Music. He has given masterclasses in Udine (Italy), Vilnius (Lithuania), Dublin (Ireland), Jerusalem (Israel). For three years he was a saxophone teacher in the Erasmus Intensive Student Programme Brass &amp; Jazz (2011-2013 Riga, Latvia) and he is also an artistic director of international student festival Riga Saxophone Days. He has premiered pieces by composers such as Andris Dzen\u012btis, Rolands Kronlaks, Edgars Raginskis, L\u012bga Celma, Linda Leimane, Juste Janulyte, Gabriel Jackson, Jachin Pousson and others.<\/p>\n<p>In 2014 A.Kazlauskas, together with Latvian National Symphony Orchestra (cond. Normunds Sne), premiered Andris Dzen\u012btis\u2019 saxophone concerto E(GO), which later received Latvian \u201cGreat Music Award\u201d in the category \u201cThe New Piece Of The Year\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In 2017 A.Kazlauskas himself was nominated for Latvian \u201cGreat Music Award\u201d in the category \u201cMusician of the year&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/promusica.org.pl\/assets\/Olena-competition-2018.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2372\" src=\"http:\/\/promusica.org.pl\/assets\/Olena-competition-2018-290x194.jpg\" alt=\"Olena competition 2018\" width=\"290\" height=\"194\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Olena Pawlenko<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Born in Kiev, Olena Pavlenko received musical education at the R. Glier Kyiv State Musical School at which she studied under the Honoured Artist of Ukraine E. Hanina. She later went to the P. Tchaikovsky Kyiv State Conservatory where she continued her studies under the famous People&#8217;s Artist of Ukraine, professor O. Kudryashov.<\/p>\n<p>As an early distinction she became the laureate of the Republican Competition of Chamber Ensembles and Performers in Kiev and took second place at the competition.<\/p>\n<p>From 2003 to 2006 she continued her education as the assistant-internship at the M. Lysenko L\u2019viv National Music Academy at the Department of Chamber Music. Her creative director was the the Honoured Practitioner of Arts of Ukraine Prof. O. Kozarenko. To complete her education, she became a Candidate of Art Studies in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Over the years she has been the author of numerous articles in various publications and drafted the training program for flutist for students of specialized music schools of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>Her teaching career began in 1983 as a teacher of flute in the Kiev School #10. In 1990 she took up teaching of methodology at the S. Krushelnytska L\u2019viv Music School. Since 2008 she teaches at the Department of Wind and Percussion Instruments at the M. Lysenko Lviv National Musical Academy.<\/p>\n<p>Olena performed as a soloist with the L\u2019viv INSO (International Symphony Orchestra) and Virtuosos orchestral group in the L\u2019viv Philharmonic Hall. Outside of Ukraine she toured many European countries as part of the Austrian international symphony orchestra K &amp; K Philharmoniker.<\/p>\n<p>Her students have become laureates in their own right and have received diplomas and recognition in Ukrainian and international competitions. Many work successfully in countries around the world, particularly in the United States, Austria, Germany, Spain, and China.<\/p>\n<p>In 2014 she was awarded the Honorary Award of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine &#8220;For Achievements in The Development of Culture and Arts&#8221; in recognition of her contribution to the Ukrainian musical arts. Bal\u010dytis is a prize winner of two national young performers competitions(1985,1987), Yamaha Competition (1994). Since 1993, he has worked in the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra (LNSO). He maintains an active performing career with several Italian wind orchestras and ensembles. Since 1998 he has been active as a composer, and in recent years he focused mainly in conducting bands and orchestras throughout the world. He has studied conducting with Ronald Johnson, Lorenzo della Fonte, Douglas Bostock and he has enrolled in conducting master classes and seminars led by most important teachers in the world wind music scene. Since 2006 he teaches conducting at the Brescia Band Center and the Ripatransone Summer Music Festival, and in 2016 at the Novara Conservatory. He is the principal conductor of Orchestra Fiati di Vallecamonica, one of the leading wind orchestras in Italy, winner of many international contests such as Flicorno d\u2019Oro in Riva del Garda (1st category in 2007, superior category in 2011 and excellence category in 2016) and the \u201cVall\u00e9e d\u2019Aoste\u201d contest (excellence category in 2012). Maestro Salvini was admitted to the final session of the International Conducting contest at the WMC in Kerkrade, The Netherlands (2005) and won the &#8220;Palmiero Giannetti&#8221; international conducting competition in Siena (2009). He works as a clinician and adjudicator throughout Europe in international band contests and festivals, among others the 30th Z\u00fcrker Kantonalmusikfest in Winterthur (CH) and the contest estabilished by the Italian Ministry of Culture for the 150th anniversary of the Italian Union in 2011.He was invited to be the guest conductor for the Baltic State Opera in Gdansk, Poland; he was also guest conductor for the Northern Festival of Bands at University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, USA, in 2007 and 2014.
