National Competition of Sailing and Hiking Songs “Sailing Route” Suprasl 2015

The Pro Musica Foundation, Culture and Recreation Center in Supraśl and the Centre for Education C & K Wasilkow would like to invite you to:

National Competition Sailing Song and Hiking “Sailing Route” Suprasl 2015

Information for participants:

  1. The competition will be held on 6th November 2015 at:

Dom Ludowy

Pilsudskiego 11

Supraśl

2.The goal of the competition is:

  • Finding young musical talents
  • Supporting the vocally gifted students
  • Promoting musical culture among young people
  • Promoting active lifestyle
  • Exchanging music experience
  • Dissemination of sailing and hiking songs
  • Developing competition skills
  1. The competition is designed for young people in six categories:I. Soloist -classes IV-VI – primary school

II. Bands – classes IV to VI – primary school

III. Soloists – gymnasium

IV. Bands of gymnasium

V. Soloists – high school school

VI. Bands – school school

Detailed information are in regulations.

  1. Prizes

Soloists and the bands are evaluated on the scale of 1-30 points.

The Gold diploma – is given to the competitors who achieve between 25-30 points.

The Silver diploma- is given to the competitors who achieve between 20-24.99 points.

The Bronze diploma – is given to the competitors who achieve between 15-19.99 points.

After the final concert, the winner of the soloist and band competition will receive special cash price –GRAND PRIX

Cash prize

Soloist: 500 PLN and a performance at the Festival of Sailing Songs “Kopysc”

Band: 750 PLN and a performance at the Festival of Sailing Songs “Kopysc”

The jury can give special awards as well.

  1. Entry fee:

10 PLN soloist, 5 PLN Band  member

The deadline of REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT FEE- 24th  OCTOBER 2015.

Payment must be made after the registration and confirmation of acceptance, directly to the account of the Cultural Center under the heading

” NATIONAL       COMPETITION OF SAILING AND HIKING SONGS “Sailing Route” SUPRAŚL 2015 and the full name of the participant (s)

In a case of resignation, fee will not be refunded.

The number of participants is limited. Participants will be registered on the first come first served basis.

Conductor, choirmaster, teacher  Awarded the Medal of the National Education Commission (2011). Graduated Frederic Chopin Music Academy in Warsaw,  Department of Instrumental-Pedagogy in the Conducting class of prof.  Bożenna Sawicka and voice prof. Cezary Szyfman . Postgraduate Studies : Academy of Music. F. in Bydgoszcz, and  Academy of Music. I.J. Paderewski in Poznan in the guitar class.

Mariusz Siemon:

Kopysc2001  Founder of band “THE PIORUNERS” band leader until 2000. Since 1986, singing in choirs Polytechnic, University, Police Choir. Guitarist,     singer, member of the jury at various competitions and auditions.

  1. Food lodgings:

The refreshments will be served (coffee, tea, cake) for the participants.

Dinner can be purchased at the price of 13 PLN in the restaurant “Incognito” in Suprasl (please make a note on the registration form)

Accommodations: on the 6 November ,we will provide 8 free beds for first 8 participants from outside of the Podlasie region
