Paola Fundaro- oboist
Graduated from the “Martini” in Bologna with Giuliano Giuliani and later studied with Brunello, Dini Ciacci, Siviero, Schellemberger, Gorinzkj and Vignali. She has performed numerous solo concerts in Italy, Europe and Japan. She also has extensive chamber experience, from the duo with piano to the wind octet. She obtained the suitability in important orchestras (including: “Arena” of Verona, “Carlo Felice” of Genoa, “Pomeriggi Musicali” of Milan, “La Fenice” of Venice, “Regio” of Turin, “Bellini” of Catania, Orchestra Des Jeunes de la Mediterranèe) and was also a finalist and semi-finalist in two competitions organized by the Teatro alla Scala for Primo Oboe. He has collaborated as Primo Oboe with the Teatro alla Scala Orchestra of Milan, the S. Cecilia Academy, the Teatro dell’Opera of Rome, the Pomeriggi Musicali of Milan, the Teatro Regio of Turin and, as Fila with the Arena di Verona, the Teatro C. Felice in Genoa, the Teatro La Fenice in Venice. Since 1993 she is Oboe Solista at the “Rondò Veneziano”, with which she has performed in the most famous European Theaters. In 1997 he won the competition for the position of Primo Oboe at the “Verdi” Theater Orchestra of Trieste, a role he still holds.
