Dušan Kranjc graduated as a trombone soloist at the university in Ljubljana. For several years he has been principle trombone player at the Slowenic Philharmonic Orchestra and the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg. Later on he studied with Branimir Slokar in Trossingen (Germany). Actually he is theaching at the university for music in Ljubljana and in music school in Austria. He is a solo trombone player of the Camerata Academica Salzburg, MAS (Salzburg baroque ensemble) – Musica antiqua Salzburg, the baroque orchestra L`Orfeo, the ÖENM (Austrian ensemble for contemporary music). Dušan has been a member of the Juvavum Brass Quintett since 1990.
